The Last Great Race/La Gran Ultima Carrera

The Iditarod. One of the most incredible races on Earth. 1150 miles of the craziest, most beautiful terrain you have ever seen! The dogs used to pull the sleds are usually some form of Husky. That is Leelu...my Siberian Husky and my proxy daughter (until I have a human one). And, no, I'm not a Giants fan... blame my husband! We haven't trained her to pull a sled, but if you put a harness on her... off she goes. Some people disagree with the race. All I know is, my husky would die if I didn't take out that harness a few times a week. Really, she stares at it. And, that is the point.
